Philadelphia is home to some of the world's coolest venues, both historically and artistically. Now I might be a bit biased (as a former Entertainment & Arts Management major at Drexel University), I'm partial to the city's music venues, soaked with the sweat of musicians past and present, some with crumbling ceilings and speakers that were used for Live Aid (lookin' at you, TLA), some with new construction and bathrooms that have yet to be tainted by the scrawlings of teenage angst.
Spring and summer are the best times to see live music, especially in Philadelphia. Discover what's going on in the City of Brotherly Love!
Home of the Flyers, 76ers, and Philadelphia Soul, the Wells Fargo Center is where big bands tour when they don't feel like torturing fans and forcing them to cross the river to take in their tunes. This is what's going on in between Flyers games, which we all know don't matter for the rest of the season.
